A Profile of Pennsylvania’s Unemployed People was recently released by the Center for Workforce Information & Analysis. The Report identifies the demographics and geographic distribution of the nearly 600,000 Pennsylvanians who are unemployed. In addition to its general message of educating the public on the effects of unemployment, the report can be used by legislators and policymakers in making decisions regarding economic and workforce development programs and policies moving forward.
