Below are short descriptions of the programs.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Career T.R.A.C.K., Inc. will provide internships/office work experience opportunities for 36 youth ages 16-24. Emphasis will be focused o&amp;shy;n placing youth in the TCWIB designated high growth career areas. These work experiences will utilize both non-profit and for-profit worksites. Career T.R.A.C.K., Inc. will also provide team based work experience and adult mentoring to 24 youth ages 16-24 in the form of work crews. The crews will participate in community based projects learning occupational skills and how to function as a member of a team.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Family-Life Media-Com., Inc. will provide 12 participants, ages 16-24, a work experience Monday through Thursday in o&amp;shy;ne of the high demand career areas of the tri-county area. All applications must be received and/or post marked by May 8, 2009 (if dropping off at Tri-County Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (TCWIB) office, petitions/applications must be received by 4:30 PM) Attn: Melinda C. Schultheis, TCWIB, Inc. 112 Hollywood Drive, Suite #201, Butler, PA 16001. Petitions must be filed and approved by a local workforce investment board – do not send your petition directly to the state.The application must be completed in Petition Format and have the required documentation attached (letters from employers indicating that there are 35 job openings per year for the next five years).
