Youth TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) Programs
These funds utilize the TANF funding sources and were made available through a partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, the Team PA Workforce Investment Boards, and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. The funds allow local Workforce Investment Boards to partner with youth serving organizations to develop projects that lead to successful direct services to youth. TANF funds can be expended to serve youth between the ages of 5 and 18 with a household income below 235% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
